OBITUARY.

MR GEORGE SIEVERS. In the death of Ah- George levers, winch occurred at his ute residence, Bartholomew Road, Bcmii, yesterday afternoon, folnß - of a month’s duration is recorded the passing- of not only a district resident of many years’ -standing, but also of one of the' pioneer primary producers of the Wairaratn district.

This property he worked for only a few years before going into retirement at his late home on Bartholomew Road.

Associa‘i(,ng In addition to his wife, he is survived by a family of three sons, Ale, vis Lewis (Marlinborough), Sydney (I-eliding) and Terence Sievers (Levin) and three daughters, Airs Soler (Taumarunui), Airs Oakley (Palmerston Xorth), and Aliss All hired Sievers (at present in England), to whom will be extended the deep sympathy of a very wide circle of friends in the bereavement which they have suffered. The funeral takes place at JO.MO a.m. to-morrow from St. Andrew's Catholic Church.
