LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.

The monthly meeting of the League of Mothers was held last week with a good attendance of members. Apologies were received from Mcsdumes Sat hurley, Powell, Hunter and Wright. Mrs. Cameron was in the chair and after :.!ie singing of the League hymn introduced the speaker, Rev. Dr. I. W. Fraser, who gave a- very able address on “Tac emotional development of the child.” At the conclusion of the address he was accorded a hearty vote of thanks, which, was carried by acclamation. The next monthly meeting is to be a “Sing, Say, or Pay” afternoon, and as it is the last meeting before the annual one, members are reminded to rorward their nominations for President, Secretary and Committee. After a dainty afternoon tea. the meeting was closed with the League prayer.
