WEEKLY SALE AT LEVIN. Reporting upon the usual woeklv stock sale which was conducted at the Levin yards yesterday, Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., state that they offered a medium yarding of pigs, together with a small offering of sheep and a medium yarding of cattle, to the usual attendance of buyers. Prices for pork remained much on a par with thn 1 revious week, while sheep also showed little change. There was a slight casing in the demand for fat cattle. Prices realised were: — Pigs: Weaners, 3s to 4s Gd; light stores, 12s Gd to 14s; heavy do, 14s Gd los Gd, 17s to 22s Gd; light pork, 25s to 30s; medium do, MOs to 355; heavy, 3Gs to £2 3s; baconovs, £2 10s to £3; choppers, 30s to £2 10s. Sheep: Prime fat ewes, 21s Del, 22s Gd; fat lambs, 18s to 20s; prime do, 21s Gd to 22s Gd. Cattle: Fat cows, £3'ss, £4; heavy do, £4 10s to £4 15s; extra heavy do, £5 to £5 1.2 s Gd; vealers, light, £2 to £2 7s Gd; better types, £2 12s Gd to £3 10s; runners, £3 15s to £4 ss; bulls, £3 15s to £4 12s Gd; store cows. 16s, 255, 32s Gd, £2 13s to £2 15s. Dairy cattle: Springing cows, £4 17s Gd, £5 ss; springing heifers, £4, £5 10s 'to £G 10s; cows in milk, £3, £3 15s to £4.
