MID-DISTRICTS BEATEN BY 31 TO 10,

(By Telegraph-Press Assn.--Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.40 a.iu.) LONDON, December 12. The All Blacks’ defeated MidDistricts by 31 points to 10. The All Blacks met a team representative of the second class Glamorgan Valley Clubs. Eight thousand persons attended. Their opponents looked small in comparison with the AJ] Blacks, but nevertheless they started promisingly and there should have been an early score from a good passing movement, but Mitchell dashed across and saved. The attackers were apparently over excited when on the eve of a try. Mid-Districts continued surprisingly well, keeping the All Blacks’ defence busy, although the visitors apparently were taking things casually.

Gilbert kicked a penalty goal from the neighbourhood of half way, while Tindill went through from a scrum and sent King in for an easy try. Gilbert converted.
