VANCOUVER SHIPPING STRIKE

WILL AORANGI'S CREW STRIKE?

TO BE DECIDED ON TUESDAY. (By Telegraph-Press Assn .-Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Whether jthe crew, of the liner Aorangi, who are members of the Australian Seamen's Union, will withdraw from the vessel in sympathy with the Vancouver strikers is to be decided at a special meeting of the Union on Tuesday. A seaman stated that the militant members of the crew had made arrangements with unemployed members of the Union to endeavour to compel the Aorangi's crew to- tie up the vessel and would submit a motion along those lines at Tuesday's meeting. It is tbelieved, however, that such a move will be vigorously opposed by the moderate section who are expected to be in the majority. The wharf labourers continue to unload the Aorangi and this is regarded iis another rebuff to the Communists, who had .placarded the waterfront with' jstiekers declaring the Aorangi "black."
