Recourse to Force If Denied Argument

WEST® ALLAN SECCESSIONIST’S OUTBURST (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) LONDON, May 26. A member of the Western Australia secession delegation, Mr H. KJ, Watson, in replying to the Prime Minister of Australia (Mr J. A. Lyons), declared: ‘‘Let it clearly be understood that if the Imperial Parliament adopts the Joint Committee's report, it will mean that Western Australia will be denied further recourse to argument. Force will be the only means left. “I shall not hesitate to inform my fellow Western Australians, and to play a full part in whatever course is decided upon, no matter how unorthodox." Mr. Colebatch issued the following statement: ‘‘No member of the delegation has authority to make a public statement at this stage, I cannot associate myself with Mr. Watson's sentiments. ’ ’
