The many friends of Air L. Hawker, of Queen Street AVest, who has been an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital for some weeks, will be pleased to learn that lie has recovered sufficiently to be able to return to his home.
Advice from Fcilding states that the Herbert Smith Silver Cap, awarded to the best tennis player in the Fcilding Convent School, has been won for the past season by J. AV, AVbyte, a grandson of Air and Airs J. Rose, of Salisbury Street, Levin.
