Sir, —On a recent date honours were very suitably conferred on two Levin residents. in these days, when our memories are so crammed full of current events, we are apt to forget the services rendered in the past. Near the railway station on the east‘side of the town there lives a hidden treasure of bygone days, whose memory will live with the old settlers for all time. —Yours, etc,, i ‘ not FORGOTTEN. ’’
