Kemp, Ltd., between the New Zealand Insurance Co., Ltd., and the Government Life Insurance Buildings being sold for £15,000. The frontage to Queen Street is 21 feet; so the price is equivalent to be over £714 a foot. The depth of the section is 85 feet. The property, on which is a two-storeyed building, was formerly occupied by the National Insurance Company, which sold it for £23,0.00 in March, 1928, to a syndicate. It has now. been bought by a private citizen for investment purposes.
