iAn extra L.G.U. medal round was played recently, in conjunction with, the second , qualifying round of the Championship. Some excellent cards wore returned; the best scores being: Seniors, Mrs. Eoydhouse, 86 —15 —71; juniors, Miss G. Vickers, 109 —‘36 —-7,3, Miss E. Hosie, 103—29—74, Mrs. Predcrickson, 102 —26—76, Miss Milnes, 103 —26—77. The first round of the Junior Championship, commences on Wednesday, September 12th, and must be completed by Tuesday, September ,18 th. The Senior Championship commences on Wednesday, September 19th. The. draw for the Juniors is as follows: —Mrs. Clarke, a bye; Miss Clarke v. Miss Vickers; Mrs.’ Diavies v. Mrs. Sherwood; Mrs. Park v. Miss R- Smith; Miss Milnes v. Mrs. Bull; Mrs. Lynch r. Mrs. E. Clark; Miss Bevan v. Mrs. Hosie; Miss E, Hosie, a bye. The following is the draw for the Seniors:: — Mrs. Roydhouse, a. bye; Miss Herrick v. Mrs. Denton; Mrs. Mackenzie y.
