The feature of to-day's play was when Mitchell, who is 4S years of age, shared the leading place. His rounds were 72 and GG. Mitchell to date has had a wonderful season, and critics consider that since he returned to hickory shafts he hits the ball more accurately than ever. Walker Cup Golf LUNT NOT IN BRITISH TEAM LONDON, May 1. The vacancies in the Walker Cup team will be filled by Lionel Munn and Eric Mcßuvie. The omission of Lunt, who won the amateur close championship, is surprising.
