ATTEMPTED ASSASSINATION.
BOMB INTENDED FOR GOERING TAXI WRECKED AND CHAUFFEUR INJURED. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright.) (Received This Day, 11.50 a.m.) BERLIN, March 21.Rumours of an attempt to assassinate General Goering, President of the Reichstag,, arose when an egg-shaped hand grenade was thrown in the TJnter-den-Lindeu, into a taxicab occupied by an Austrian Jew, David Oliver, the owner of a chain of, cinemas, including the Capitol, where the Bergner film was banned on March 9th. The chauffeur was severelj r injured, but Oliver was almost unscratehed. The ear was wrecked.
