Lovelock Beats England's Leading Miler
SCOTTISH RECORD BROKEN IN PROCESS Received Sunday, 7.30 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 5. Lovelock, the New Zealand miler, established a Scottish record of 4min. 13 3-ssec. in an invitation mile at the Bangers' Football Club sports at Glasgow. Thomas, -the Englishman, was second in 4min. 14 l-ssec, and Riddell third in 4min. 15sec.
