Obstetrical Training For Medical Students
> —. PROVISION OF BETTER FACILITIES URGED STRATFORD, Last Night. A* large ■ meeting of the Central Taranaki Executive of the Women's ' Division passed the following resolution: "That the Government be vrgcd to fulfil the promise made in Septemin connection with the Medical School at Dunedin." It was pointed out that the Government had failed to keep Its promise to the Obstetrical Society, and it was contend by Mrs D. Steven and Dr. W. P. Gordon that the buildings available in Dunedin for the obstetrical training of students were not up-to-date and the facilities not capable of coping with cases properly. The present buildings were too cramped and the patients forced to leave hospital after ten days.
