•GERMAN GOVERNMENT'S ATTITUDE TO THE NOTES. FOREIGN OFFICE SILENT. (Received This Day. 12.40 p.m.) BERLIN, Aug. 6. It has been unofficially intimated 'that the Government is prepared to "do its best" to prevent German aeroplanes from dropping propaganda in Austria and will stiffen the censorship of broadcasts intended for Austrians. The Foreign Office officially preserves complete silence.
