Lyttelton By-election
\ CANDIDATE ALREADY IN THE FIELD CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Mr F. W. Freeman is announced as a candidate for the Lyttelton electorate. Ho describes himself as a supporter of the Coalition Party, but not pledged to any question, and he proposes to for recognition as the official Coalition candidate. At the last general election, standing in the Coali- , tion interests, he was defeated by only 32 votes. Mr Freeman is by profession a civil engineer and is a member of the executive of the South Island Motor j Union and of the Heathcote County Council.
