RETIRED HAFKB'S BAY SHEEPFARMER.

AUCKLAND, Last Night.

The estate of Mr. George John White, of Auckland, who died on June 14, has been va-vsd for probate at under £120,000. Mr. White was 74 years of age. Under the provisions of the will tne estate is bequeathed to his widow and family. .Mr. White, who had lived in retirement in Auckland for some years, was formerly well known in the Hawke's Bay and Poverty Bay districts as a successful sheep farmer. He developed the Makomako station on the East Coast from a state of virgin roughness into a sheep farm of high'productive capacity.
