The professional light-weight contest to-night under the.control of the Northern Boxing Association between Archie Hughes, feather-weight champion of New South Wales, and Ted Oxley, of Pahiatua, proved the most sparkling bout seen in Auckland for years. Hughes was declared the winner at the end of fifteen rounds on points. Otago Champions DUNEDIN, Last Night. Following were the winners of the finals in the Otago boxing championships to-night: —Bantams, J. Richmond; middleweights, E. Bagrie; lightweights, S. Brooks; feathery, C. Buckley; flyweights, C. Leader; welters, T. L. Chettleburgh.
