Big Increase in German Bankruptcies
OVER 15,000 IN NINE MONTHS. Received Tuesday, 9.20 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 6. The Daily Mail's Berlin correspondent says the seriousness of the situation is revealed by the rapid increase in German bankruptcies for September. They number 1029 compared with 735 in August. So far there have been 9771 bankruptcies and 5690 compositions in nine months.
