BLACKBERRY AND APPLE JAM
Allow equal quantities of green apples and blackberries. Wash and stalk the latter; peel, core, and slice the apples; put both into a preserving pan, .with just enough water to keep them from burning. Simmer until soft, rub through a sieve, measure, and allow |lb. of sugar to each pint of pulp. as for blackberry jam.
