Daring Burglaries in Napier

TENTS ENTERED AND £l6 COLLECTED NAPIER, Last Night. A burglary involving more than the usual amount of daring was perpetrated in Napier some time during the early hours of this morning, when tents erected on the lawn in front of the Arcadia private hotel, situated at the corner of Station and Dalton streets, were entered and several amounts of money taken, to the total value of over £l6. From the tent occupied by Mr. Howard Elliott £l2 was stolen, while gmalier amounts were taken from tents occupied by three'' others. One tent at the back of the hotel was also visited and a small sum stolen.
