Stock Exchange Subdued
NEW ZEALAND STOCKS IN STRONG DEMAND. . \ Received Tuesday, 9.20 p.m. SYDNEY, April 28. The Stock Exchange has a rather subdued tone. Commonwealth bonds continue to weaken, particularly shortdated issues reflecting the uncertainty of the immediate political and 'financial outlook. A noticeably strong demand rules for New Zealand Government steaks but advanced offers.fail to bring out sellers, Eairly good support exists for bank shares but the better class industrial shares continue to display weakness due to the unsettled outlook.
