RECRUITING FOR SUNDAY SCHOOLS.
THIRD JUBILEE CAMPAIGN IN LEVIN.
■ In October qf this year, the third Jubilee of Robert Raikes, founder of the Sunday School, wi»l be celebrated throughout the Christjian world. In connection therewith, a great Sunday School Recruiting Campaign is being undertaken. The undoubted benefits accruing to the child, the home and the nation, as the result of Sunday School religious instruction, are so vast that all true lovers of their Itind are auxjious that not one child dial] miss his or her golden opportunity. Levin is not to be behind other ami larger centres and the ministers of the town have dqeided that a thorough canvass shall be made of the borough and every house is to be visited. Different sections of the town have been abiotted to the Church of England, Presbyterians, Methodists, Church of Christ and Salvation Army, and wiithin a few days the canvass 'will begin. It is hoped that parents and guardians will cooperate with the ministers and Sunday School teachers in their very laudable effort.
On October 19th, a great Sunday School Rally will be held, but particulars of this event are not yet forthcoming.
