AN IMPORTANT APPOINTMENT,

The appointment of Mr Harry P. Muller as genera! manager for Now Zealand for J. (•. Williamson, Ltd., is confirmed from Sydney, a cable to this effect having been received last evening by Airs Muller, who is,at present staying with her sister. Airs (J. W. Aleilor, of Ohau. Air Alulior succeeds the late Air He it Rovie in one of the most responsible positions under the well-known theatrical organisation with which he has been connected for a number of years, latterly as the Firm’s representative in San Francisco. Aluller is an old Pa bnerstonian, whore he went to school, and was managing clerk in a legal office. After studying law for six years, he was .attracted to the theatrical profession, in which he had always Liken a deep interest, and became manager of the old Theatre, Royal ,tu Palmerston; from whence he graduated into the Williamson organisation, where his ability and personality soon ’.von for him rapid preferment. Air and Airs Aluller recently returned from Sun Francisco and are looking forward to again settling in their own country. Air Aluller’s many friends .in New Zealand will hear with pleasure of his return and advancement.
