Miss Lilian Horsier, of Nelson, has accepted the position as ward sister at the Otaki Hospital.

Ray, son of Air. and Airs. Pallisor, of Otaki Beach, is at present in Palmerston North hospital, where ho underwent an operation to-day.

A wedding took place at. the Otaki Methodist Church to-dav when Miss Hazel May Moffatt and Air. Davi t Charles Blake were married.

Constable McNulty, who has been appointed as police officer at Otaiti, was among the visitors to this town to-day. He returned to Cower Halt this aft ernoon.

At last night's meeting of the Otaki Lodge of Druids eulogistic reference: was made to the work of Bro. C. Pike, a Vice-Arch Druid Bard and also a secretary of the Juvenile Lodge. Bro. Bike left this morning for Palmerston North, where ho has secured a position with the Railway Department. OTAKI DRUIDS. The fortnightly meeting of the Druids’ Lodge, held last night, was well attended. Three new members were initiated and two proposed. One clearance was granted. Bro. W. Bills, P.A., and Bro. J. O’Grady, P.A., were nominated for the oliico of District President.
