BRITAIN’S AIRSHIPS.
UlOl NOT UP TO EXPECTATIONS
/Bv Telegranh-Presa Assn .-Copyright.) '(Received This Day, 1.20 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 15.
The “Daily Telegraph’s aeronautical correspondent states there is no possibility of the Empire heavy oil airship ElOl emerging before November. The weight of the engines and their fittings exceed the estimates by five tons :and she has a thousand horse-power less than was expected. She is not likely to carry the intended hundred passengers. The petrol burning EIOO will be ready in the middle of October but will not venture into the tropics. Both, for structural strength, far out-, strip the Graf Zeppelin.
