In furtherance of the official antiGod movement the Soviet sent tho well-tyiown writer, Hakimado, to Shachimardan, whore a religious pilgrimage was in progress. He met death at the hands of the irate ecclesiastical feudal lords, nine of whom were sentenced to death, seven imprisoned and nineteen exiled.
