■ Constables Brown and McCulloch arrested two men under the influence of liquor at a dance hall. The tnpn resisted violently and twenty btne? dancorß ;; came to their assistance. The policemen were thrown to the ground and savagely kicked. Brown’s baton wrenched from him, and he drew his revolver. The men again. lUS«BU him, and during the struggle the gun exploded and William Kraesst was shot dead and another man wounded.
