FAULTY CISTERN.
DAMAGE AGAINST BOROUGH COUNCIL. (By Telegraph—Press Association)-. NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. The Supreme Court this morning gave judgment by consent fojr £290 with costs in the case of Retford v. Borough Council for damage caused through defective installation by defendants of a water heating service. The copper float in the roof cistern became detached through faulty soldering allowing water to flood the premises anddamage stock .
