(Received This Hay, 12.29 p.m.) SHANGHAI, April 25., Nationalists' reports have confirmed the statement that Feng-yul-hsiang entered Tsinan, the 'Capital of Shantung on April 24th, following the complete annihilation of the northerners. The Russian Brigade under Chang-Chung-Chang, is fleeing to the sea. Reports from Mukden state that Chiang-kai-shek reports the capture of 125 cannons and 65,000 rifles. Considerable anxiety is felt for the safety of foreigners, who, disregarding consular warnings, stayed in Tsinan, being there it is believed when the city fell prior to the arrival of sufficient Japanese forces adequately to protect all foreigners. Dr. Walter Seymour, of the American Presbyterian Mission, at Tsiningfu, who has been in the Southerners’ hands for ten days, is reported to have been shot and killed on the sixteenth or seventeenth. The Nanking Government has issued a proclamation for the protection of foreigners under Nationalist jurisdiction.
