Brilliant conditions again prevailed for the Dominion Ladies’ Golf Championship, when the second round was entered upon at the Hokowhitu links this morning. The surprise of the morning’s play was the defeat of Miss Kay (Dunedin) by Miss Horton (Auckland) at the 19th, the former having returned a fresh course record of 77 (2 under bogey) yesterday. Miss M. Guy beat Mrs Grace one up at the 19th.
Miss Culling beat Miss Achoson, 2 up and 1 to play. Mrs Guy Williams beat Miss Gambrill, 5 and 3.
Miss Horton beat Miss Kay, I up at the 19th# Miss Payton beat Mrs Trevor, 5 and
Miss Watson beat Miss Hamlin, 4 and 2. Mrs Selanders beat Miss Ormond, 6 and 5. Miss Seifert beat Miss Sim, 1 up. Miss Upham beat Mrs Treadwell, 2 up. Miss Stevens boat Miss White-Par-sons, 4 and 3. Miss Brandon beat Mrs Pearce, 2 and 1. Miss Upton beat Miss Curtis, 5 and 5. Mrs Dodgeshun beat Mrs Stanford, s and 5. Miss Parsons beat Mrs Clark, 5 and 4. Mrs Stout beat Miss Bristed, 3 and X 1. Mrs Collinson beat Mis Heighten. 3 and 1.
