BASKET BALL.
On Saturday last the As, and B. basket ball teams from the Shannon School journeyed to Levin where they met and defeated the Levin girls. The A team was captained by Myra McEwen and won by 14 to 10, goals being thrown by Helen Warner (5) and Eileen Poster (2). The B team were captained by Lila Hoi den, their score being 10 to 6, Lila Holden scoring 3 goals and Marjorie Harris 2. >
