MR LINKLATER'S CAMPAIGN
Mr Linklater spoke to the fair-sized audience who had turned out on the very, wet night that Saturday was at Rangiotu, and received an excellent hearing. A vote of thanks and confidence was carried unanimously. Mr H. Bond occupied the chair, and spoke most highly of the candidate as the right man to represent this district in Parliament. He also expressed regret at Mr Newman’s retirement and took the opportunity of publicly thanking him for what he had done for the district as its member.
