FRANCE’S TRIBUTE TO ANZACS
(Received-This Day, 11.25 a..m.) Baris, August 16. There is a movement on loot to erect a monument in front of Parliament House, Melbourne, to express French admiration of the Australians’ work in the war, and to commemorate her soldiefs who fell on French soil. It is proposed that the monument take the form of a colossal marble globe, surrounded by playing fountains.
