SOUTHERN GRAIN MARKETS. [I'HR PRESS ASSOCIATION.J OAMARU, February 11. The chief sale of new wheat during the week has been a line of 3000 sacks of mixed varieties at 3s 7d f.0.b., or 3s 3d net to the grower, delivery in March. Old velvet wheat, in small parcels, has been sold at 3s 7d net at country stations aiid a mixed line of velvet and tuscan at 3s 9d, ex store, subject to brokerage. Owing to the scarcity of oats, new season's chaff has sold at 45s net on trucks. LEVIN AUCTIONEERING CO. The Levin Auctioneering Co. report having hold a most successful sale of fruit and furniture at the Central Mart on Saturday. Thero was a particularly large entry of fruit, cliiefly plums and apples, all of which sold well under the hammer. Our mart was crowded throughout the sale and bidding was brisk. Wo quote: Plums, Burbank 2s, 2s 3d, 2s 6d to 2s 9d; yellow Ofxon, 2s 3d, 2s 6d, 2s 9d to 3s ; green, 2s, 2s 3d; apples, 2s 8d to 3s; windfalls, Is 6d to 2s; potatoes, market glutted, 5s per cwt. Furniture and sundries met with a ready sale.
