A young woman with two children, desires a pl«ce as housekeeper or as general help. Details appear in an advertisement to-day. Mr i<\ J. Glackin, of Levin, has received advices that ho has passed the Optical College examination, and is now entitled to stylo himself doctor of optics (M.A.0.C.). Residents of Levin and district are roininded of the clearing sale that is to be hold to-morrow (Wednesday) on account of Mrs Albert James, at the residence on the main road to Ohau. The catalogue includes kill classes of household furniture, crockery, kitchen utensils, etc., also a seven-drawer Singer drophead machine, one gent's bicycle, nearly new, and a grit mill that has had -very little use. The sale will he conducted by Mr T. A, B. Hudson as auctioneer for the Levin Auctioneering Co., and as Mrs James has sold the property througK the agency of the same firm, every article is for sale to the highest bidder.
