DILLON SHIELD BOWLS
Krom Our Own Correspondent. WAIPAWA. Nov. 11. The first round of the Dillon Shield competition between the Waipukurau and Waipawa bowling clubs was completed to-day. At home, Waipawa was defeated, but the rink skipped by Eagle secured a win at-Waipukurau by 25 points to 16. The game at Waipawa . resulted as follows: Waipukurau: Moorhead. Beacham, Elliott, Cook 15; Waipawa: Clark, Coe. Davy and Ashby 12. This leaves Waipawa 12 points up on the aggregate for the first round.
