Polish Minister’s Visit To London MR EDEN’S ASSURANCES (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received 12, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 11. The “Morning Post’s” diplomatic correspondent understands that Mr Anthony Eden, Foreign Secretary, and Colonel Joseph Beck, Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, decided that Fascist and Communist crusades have a tendency to revive wars of religion, tnd must be discouraged. There must be no isolation of one part of Europe from another. They considered that the attitude of Germany was the greatest danger to peace.
Mr Eden is understood to have assured Colonel Beck, in respect to the Western Pact negotiations, that nothing would be concluded that would prejudice the security of eastern Europe.
