STREET COLLECTION
The fixation of a day for street collection as part of this year’s Health Stamp campaign was asked of the Hastings Borough Council last evening by the Post and Telegraph Department and the matter was left to the Mayor (Mr G A. Maddison) to arrange
The Department pointed out that the Health Stamps would not be placed on sale until November 1. and would be withdrawn from sale not later than February 29. 1937, so that the Health Stamp Committee would probably require a day during this period, possibly a Saturday.
