Record for Half-Year

(Received 18. 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 18. The number of marriages for New ■South Wales for the six months ended June 30 was 11,511, and was the Highest on record for a half-yearly period. The number of marriages in Victoria, 8224, is smaller than New South Wales, but the proportion to population is greater.
