Jubilation in England

The Queen Mary was a wonderful ship and something more in the minds of the British people than a mere commercial enterprise, said Mr H. M. Campbell, of Poukawa, who has returned home after visiting the Old Country.

On the day that Mr Campbell was coming up the English Channel in the Port Hobart the Queen Mary had cast off from Southampton on her maiden trip, and he was interested in broadcast description which followed that of the Derby. Her capture of the Blue Riband was received with great jubilation in England
