LADIES’ GOLF

H.B. Championship Tourney

Next Week

Good entries have been received for the Hawke’s Bay ladies’ golf championship, which will be played at Waiohiki next wook, commencing on Tuesday morning. Several players from outside clubs have entered for the tournament, and since the Waiohiki links are at present in perfect condition the three days should see some very goo'd play. Play commences on Tuesday morning, and both morning and afternoon rounds will be qualifying rounds, match play being on Wednesday and Thursday, with the final on Thursday afternoon.

Miss M. Dalgleish, of Napier, the present holder of the title, will be defend ing it at the tournament.
