British Statistics British Official Wireless Service RUGBY, Sept. 17. The latest statistics show that the number of wireless receiving licences in Britain in August was 7,744,472. The “Morning Post” says: “Saturation point was formerly believed to be about ten million, but it is now estimated at nearer twelve million and, in anticipation of a steady increase in the number during the next few years, further programme developments are in prospect. The revenue from licences already amounts to £3,872,236, but, if anticipations are realised, a considerable advance on this sum is looked for in the near future.”
