SOCIETY WEDDING
Lord Waleran and Miss Betty Carr (Received 17, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 16. Lord Waleran, who was second secretary to the Governor-General of New Zealand from 1927 to 1930, married Betty, younger daughter of Sir Enisley Carr, and they are joining the Orion at Toulon on a world tour, including Australia and New Zealand. The guests included Sir Isaac and Lady Isaacs, Sir Harry and Lady Brittain, Sir Henry and Lady Horton, Lord and Lady Iliffe, Sir Roderick and Lady Jones, Viscount and Viscountess Wakefield, and Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Gtiriin.
