SHORTAGE OF RUBBER
Motor-Cars Laid Up In Germany
(Received 8, 11.30 a.m.) BERLIN, Sept. 7.
Owing to a shortage of rubber, hundreds of motor-cars are laid up, and the motor-ear industry is threatened with ruin. Factory owners have appealed to Dr. Schacht to release foreign exchange so that they can buy tyres.
