Signs of Indirect Buying at Sydney Sales (Received 3, 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 3. The “Daily Telegraph" says: ‘‘Woolsellers in Sydney consider there are unmistakable signs that Japan is buying Australian wool indirectly. One strong indication, they say, is that certain City operators who, for many yeais, bought in a small way, have launched out in unprecedented fashion since the sales began on Monday. These buyers declined to say whether they have received commissions from Japan to buy by proxy."
