WATER MAIN BURSTS
London Streets Flooded British Official Wireless Service. RUGBY, Juno 18. Remarkable scenes followed the bursting of a water main in the centre of London to-day. Neighbouring streets were soon several feet deep with a swirling tide, which swept into shops, Heeded cellars aud brought traffic Io a standstill. The tramway tunnel from Kingsway to the Embanktueut was flooded and dislocation of the tramway service resulted over a considerable area.
