Hard-Court Tennis LONDON, May 3. In the hard-court tennis championship finals Miss Kay Stammers (Britain beat Senorita .Anita Lizana (Chile) 7 —5, 7 —5; Fred Perry (Britain) beat H. W. Austin (Britain), 6 —2, B—6, 6—3. This is Perry’s filth successive win. SYDNEY RESULTS SIDNEY, May 3. Following are results from the City of Sydney tennis championships:— Alen’s singles: Hapman beat B. Thompson 6—o, 6—4, —7, 6—4. Men’s doubles: Hopman and N. Turvey beat Bromwich and Huxley 6—l, 10—8, 6—3. Women’s singles: Miss Ilartigan beat Miss Coyne 3 —G, 6—o, 7—5. Women’s doubles: Alias Ilartigan and Aliss Coyne boat AD’S Hopman and Miss AL Wynne 6—4, 6—4.
