Y.M.C.A. v. Watersiders Despite the wintry weather on Satthe Soccer match between Y.AI.C.A. seniors and Watersiders proved that the players were all tit, and an excellent game resulted. The ground was exceedingly heavv, and consequently the players found no littje difficulty in mastering the ball. The score opened with a goal for Y.AI.C.A., when J Kersey took a corner kick and F. Smith headed the ball into the net. Shortly afterwards. Edlin scored for Watersiders with a corner kick which went into the corner of the net. The game remained even until near the end, when Rigby for Y.AI.C.A. made a fine solo effort, when lie dribbled his way down mid-field and snapped the ball into the net, making the scores: Y.AI.C.A 2 Watersiders 1 _ A hard tussle followed, but Watersiders were unable to secure the necessary goal and the final score read 2—l. Air B. Woods refereed. ■ Junior Grade. Y.AI.C.A, 2 defeated High School (A) 1. High School (B) 3 defeated Alagpies The third, fourth and fifth grade Soccer matches were postponed on account of the weather.
