DAIRY BOARD MAY GO

Producers’ Instead CONFERENCE SOON By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, April 23. Following consideration by representatives of the Dairy Board and Ministers during the past few days, it appears likely that the Dairy Board, as at present constituted, will be abolished and replaced by a Producers’ Board of five members. Tho question will be further examined at a conference of dairy producers at Wellington nest Wednesday. Although no details are atatlable, it is believed that at this conference the producers will be called on either to elect four new representatives or retain four members of the board elected last year. The indications are that the present producers’ representatives will bo retained, and that Mr C. A. Marchant will remain as the sole Government nominee.
